What it treats

Resurfacing results with minimal downtime — RENU's most-requested laser.

What it is

RENU Cool Laser is a laser-based treatment offered at both RENU clinics, performed personally by Dr. Barrett rather than handed off to a technician.

How it works

Resurfacing results with minimal downtime — RENU's most-requested laser.

How it helps

Patients choose RENU Cool Laser to address texture & tone and lines & wrinkles — dosing and technique are staged conservatively so the change reads as rested, not "done."

Treatable areas

Most commonly used for skin, chest / décolleté, body and face concerns. Dr. Barrett will confirm the exact areas that make sense for you at your consultation.

Optional add-on

Add exosomes to your treatment

Exosomes are tiny messengers, packed with growth factors, that help skin cells communicate and repair. Applied right after your treatment — while the skin is most receptive — they support recovery and help boost and extend your results. Ask Dr. Barrett about adding exosomes at your consultation.

What To Expect

How the visit goes

01Full-face consultation with Dr. Barrett — photographs, assessment, and an honest read on whether this is the right treatment.
02Numbing where it applies, then the treatment itself.
03Aftercare instructions in writing, plus a direct line if anything surprises you.
04Follow-up photos at the interval that matches this treatment.

Questions we get asked

Will I look overdone?

No. Dr. Barrett's practice is built on conservative dosing and staged plans — you can always add, and patients routinely come back for a second, smaller session rather than one dramatic one.

Does it hurt?

Most patients describe pressure rather than pain. Topical numbing is standard where it helps, and we can pause at any point.

How soon can I go back to work?

See the downtime figure above. For most injectable treatments patients return the same day; laser and thread treatments need a short social buffer.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on units, syringes or sessions, so it's quoted at consultation. Financing is available.
